Scoliosis exercise: Scoliosis is a disorder related to the spine. Pressure on the spine will increase the discomfort. That occurs with obesity, and certain exercises. So, weight loss, and exercise that takes pressure off of the back, can be helpful. Also, strengthening the back muscles is helpful with many back problems. Swimming takes all of the pressure off of your joints and is neutral for your back.
