See asthma doc: Treating asthma can be challenging and require the skill and knowledge of a specialist. Either an allergist or pulmonologist should be able to identify why a person's asthma is not controlled and develop a diagnostic and treatment plan that is individualized for each person. See an allergist--don't delay.
