As it reflects: If you get heartburn chronically, you probably have a problem with acid reflux . If you have not responded to brief courses of acid reducing medicines, then you should see your doctor or a gastroenterologist for a work up to get on medication which is effective for you. This is definitely a treatable problem. Good luck.
