Should you stop when caregiving becomes more like a job, not caring for a family member?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Care giver stress: Most caregivers in this country are informal, or unpaid, caregivers. Often daughters or a spouse , it can be a gruelling job and seem to be longer then a 24 hr day. The caregiver can become ill, depressed, burnt out. Etc. Best to try to get some help if you are feeling stressed or angry- organizations like the alzheimers assoc if dementia is the problem are useful.
