Sleep Study may help: This condition requires confirmation with a sleep study which can be done by a specialist called sleep medicine expert. There are some medicines which can be useful to treat this condition but they can only be prescribed by a sleep medicine expert. You should seek consultation through your pcp's help and see this specialist.

See below: Sleep paralysis, if often, usually indicates disruption of sleep and it can point to an underlying medical issue such as sleep apnea or narcolepsy. It is recommended you consult a sleep medicine specialist to discern if this is the case, especially if excessive daytime sleepiness is present. Try to regularize your sleep times ; avoid caffeine, nicotine, ; alcohol near bedtime. Hope that helps!
