Sleep paralysis.: Yes. Sx’s of sleep paralysis include inability to move when falling asleep or waking up. The person is awake but unable to speak. This is often accompanied by intense fear. Other possible sx’s: chest pressure, difficulty breathing, hallucinations & abnormal bodily sensations. Sx’s usually last for a few seconds to a few minutes. Cause is waking up before Rapid Eye movement sleep is complete.
