A member asked:

I know i suffer from chronic sleep paralysis, although i haven't received a doctor's diagnosis - since i was 17 i've had it every few nights, and sometimes it can last up to an hour and often occurs many times throughout the night. i don't know what to do

Not so simple: If you have a sleep disorder, you will need testing to evaluate possible narcolepsy, and a variety of other sleep disorders. You could benefit from a number of medications, especially modafanil or Nuvigil. Start with an overnight sleep study, see a sleep specialist and get this under control.
