As soon as they will: If you are able to get in enough quality feedings during the day & train baby to feed as they arise rather than when tired, they can do a 11p to 7a resting period as soon as 6-8 wks (sooner in some) the stomach is simply a loading area for infants & they have enough food in their intestines to make it thru the night if you allow them. To grow well & sleep well the day feeds must be adequate.
