does bottle-fed baby recognise their mother later than breastfed babies?

Not particularly: Research has shown evidence that the infant can recognize the mothers voice within hours of birth, the father half a day. Feeding mechanism is not that important to the awareness, but does allow for the early development of nurturing satiety for both.
