Esophageal pain: The left nipple pain could be referred pain from the esophagus. If your heartburn and pain present for more than 6 weeks you should be evaluated by a gastroenterologist. It sounds like you are having severe reflux with esophageal spasm and pain referred to the left chest area. The nipple needs to be examined to make sure there's no masses or enlargement due to medication.
