GERD possible: Certainly possible to be due to GERD. Try a course of anti-acid medication and see if it helps. If it is severe and slash for unrelenting, see your primary care doctor to discuss further. Hope this helps!

Hi. I've been feeling heartburn and pain when drinking and swallowing. Also, a sharp pain in my left side of the chest radiating down to my stomach. More like a burning sensation or similar. Almost feels like my liquids or foods touch my heart.
