Is it ever too late to do a surgery for a tfcc injury? i have been trying conservative treatment for roughly 6 months with mild improvements so far.

Not really : Tfcc tears in young adults often don't heal and may require arthroscopic debridement vs. Repair w/ or without ulnar shortening. Your 6 months of conservative treatment should not cause any problems if your pain continues. Best of luck!
