A member asked:

What is the best treatment for ossifying fibroma, total resection surgery or conservative surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: This is a benign tumor. The size and location dictate the surgical approach. If these tumors get large enough and/ or start to impinge on vital structures, the surgery should be complete removal.. I am not sure what you mean by conservative, and more info is needed for your situation to give you a more definitive answer.
