Statin Myopathy: Statin induced muscle problem ( from simple myalgia to fatal muscle breakdown and very rare autoimmune myopathy) is not uncommon.Mostly they are benign(milder form). Bad news is we don't know exactly why it happens and what else to do beside stopping drug altogether .Due to persistence of your problem , i would advise you to check your muscle enzymes
