CT scan: Ct scans are safe for most people, and the doctors weigh the need for this information vs the exposure to radiation, etc. If the scan includes contrast ("dye") there may be reactions to this -- but most people are not allergic. Your doctors should be checking your history and be ready for any possibility. Please discuss your concerns with the doctors who already know you.
