A member asked:

I had a thoracotomy procedure done to me due to pneumothorax , when i lay down close to where my procedure was, and its a little bubbly. is that bad?

Depends on time: If the procedure was done years ago not a life threatening issue. Could be a weakness at the surgical site. If procedure done within the last few days then yes, need to see your surgeon. Sometimes there could be a weakness at the surgical site. This could just be fat tissue or herniation of pleura. If bubbles under the skin in different areas then still concern for collapse or air leak. C ur md!
