Cardiac evaluation: Chest pain should be discussed with your physician. There are many causes of chest pain - it does not have to be cardiac, but the key to a good workup is a good history and physical exam by your physician. Chest pain should not be taken lightly! particualrly if you smoke or are a diabetic - this needs to be discussed with your doc. You may end up with a stress test.

See doc: You are at the age that chest pain should be taken very seriously. With all patients, we should be very diligent when it comes to chest pain. For this reason, please go see a doctor as we do not want to miss any coronary disease.
