Follow up with MD: Cxr was used to diagnose both the hilar enlargement and cardiomegaly. You may need further work up with an echo-cardiogram (for cardiomegaly) and may be a cat scan (for hilar enlargement). Follow up with your md. Cardiomegaly on cxr may be inaccurate as the heart looks larger when the xray is not taken with full inspiration.
