Yes: Rash is only one symptom of mono. Other common symptoms would be swollen gland at many site, feeling tired and many other sign. If you think you have mono, you should see your doctor because other conditions could have similar symptoms and your doctor needs to sort them out.

Yes & commonly: Rash affects only 3-15% of affected patients. This proportion rises to 80% for those treated with amoxicillin or ampicillin (antibiotics from the penicillin family).
