Possibilities: Ruq abdomen is home to the liver, gall bladder, small intestines, diaphragm. Gall bladder stones, duodenal ulcer, pneumonia, hepatitis, and sometimes atypical appendicitis can cause RUQ pain. Persistent pain warrants immediate evaluation by doctor.
