Not uncommon: The removal of wisdom teeth is an invasive surgical procedure and moderate to severe pain is not uncommon. Use NSAIDs or Tylenol (acetaminophen) OTC. For severe pain, stronger pain medication should be given. Call your dentist or OS for phone Rx.
