Normal or sinuses...: While it could be normal healing, wisdom teeth are close to your sinuses which could be swollen, infected or normal. The surgeon who performed your extraction(s) will have a good idea of your risks & should be eager to help you solve any issues. Call right away (if you need to be on antibiotics sooner is better). There are a # of other possibilities; again your surgeon is the best source ;-).

This is common: Ear sensations after wisdom tooth extractions is not unusual. The muscles that help open and close your mouth are often inflamed from wisdom tooth extraction due to the proximity of the muscle attachments near the wisdom teeth. My suggestion is to begin a regimen of warm moist compresses applied to both sides of your face at the same time for about 10 minutes 3-4 times per day.
