Tongue pain: With the limited information it sounds like it could be glossitis. It may be exacerbated by certain foods. Have it looked at by your doctor or ent.

Oral medicine: Although many ENT doctors, particularly head and neck surgeons are experts on the tongue, i would advise a visit to the dental school and see a specialist in oral medicine. Pain or burning in the tongue may be the result of vit. B deficiency or a fungal infection.
