See someone ASAP: Could be anything, you need a good oral and perhaps complete physical exam. Any recently started medications? Any recent trips to foreign countries? On any antibiotics? Tried and new foods recently?

Infection: You have an infection. It may be dental in origin, or medical/sysemic. What kind of infection is impossible to know without additional information and a visual examination. You need to see a dentist or oral surgeon asap.
