Chemical burn: sounds like either chemical burn or possible local allergic reaction. Can try toothpaste or mouth rinse for sensitive teeth which may help. Your doctor can prescribe mouth rinse viscous lidocaine, Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) and mylanta or Maalox which may help. Only time will heal tongue. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Dr. R
