A member asked:

Anything i can take for recurring bv and yeast infections because of the antibiotics i take for the bv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BV: The recurrences may be related to your sexual partner having these bacteria on the skin of his penis. Use of a topical antibiotic may help to limit your reinfections. You might try a probiotic to alter your stool bacterial flora or eat unpasteurized cultured yogurt, but use of antibiotics is one of the major risk factors in developing secondary yeast infections.
