CBT REBT: The best treatment for negative thoughts and assumptions is cognitive-behavior therapy. There are many self-help books on the subject by albert ellis and david burns. Consider seeing a rational-emotive behavior therapist (rebt) or cognitive-behavior therapist (cbt). If you live in australia, you will probably find a cbt or rebt therapist there.
