hypotension: You may have orthostatic hypotension which results when one rises too rapidly from a lying or sitting position. This results from your blood being stagnated in your lowered extremitied and take a few seconds to reach the brain causing one to bliack out.

This is serious!: You didn't state your medical conditions or what caused you to black out and pass out like you did. However, it is not normal to have this happen. Any loss of consciousness has to be checked out medically, or you could be at risk. So call your pcp first, and get this checked out. He may refer you to a neurologist next for more comprehensive testing. Do not drive until this has been checked out by her pcp.

Blood pressure: It sound like you fainted. This is not uncommon and can mostlybe due to low blood pressure, dehydration. It is a way for body to make sure that blood gets to your brain! make sure to remain well hydrated and i\have your blood pressure checked.
