Depends: Really depends how often you are going to the er and how often the same site on the butt in injected. If you have continual pain for this long, you need to be seen and evaluated by your physician to make sure there is no abscess or hematoma in the area.

Dr for migraine: Migraines can be caused by many different things, and patients often keep seeing many different doctors--and sometimes TMJ dentists--before finding the correct treatment. Er doctors may not have had a clinical setting to plan for complete data gathering to provide a long-term care. Please find a medical doctor who you can stay in tight communication with to find the cause, then treatment for this.

Knot in butt muscle: Most likely you have a knot in a muscle in your buttocks. If you can find it, then you can push on it and squish it and your pain will go away. You will have to do this over and over again. If you can't find a ropey band of muscle and a knot, you might want to see your doctor. Why do you go to ER?: The worst place to go at time of migraine, as is noisy, bright, loads of commotion, you have to wait, and it is far more expensive than a visit to your doctor. Depakene (valproic acid) has many side effects, such as ovarian cysts, hair loss, weight gain. See a headache specialist, get headache prevention program using otc items, and no more butt pains.
