For : For the future if your pain is severe you need to either call your doctor or go back to the emergency room. I also recommend you visit your primary care provider to investigate these migraines and decide if you need any further work up or a referral to neurology, and to also give you a prescription for migraine medication, or a change in medication. Your choice: Your choice. You definitely need to see an md for neurological testing first, before anything else is done. Obviously the meds are just not enough to cover up the symptoms. You need to find out the cause first before moving forward.
