Sticks!: Apply an non-stick dressing first, and keep it in place with a gauze roll. otherwise oozing from the abrasion will make the gauze stick. Be sure your tetanus shot is up to date (if not, get it within 72 hours of injury). Keep the area clean using saline or tap water (or very mild dilute soap if dirty). Apply a light coat of Aquafor (per Dr. Dohan). Keep covered
