Thyroid Enlargement: Thyroid enlargement is called a goiter. It is often due to an iodine deficiency. Are you gaining weight? Are you extra tired? Does cold bother you? A goiter goes along with hypothyroidism. Has a doctor felt your thyroid to make sure you do not have nodules on your thyroid? I definitely recommend you see a good physician, have a physical exam, and get some laboratory tests.
