Could you tell me why my knees click when exercising?

Patellofemoral: Clicking/popping can often arise from patellofemoral (behind the knee cap) degeneration, which basically refers to wear and tear of the cartilage behind the knee cap. If the clicking is not associated with pain (which is typically the case) then i wouldn't worry about it. If you do have significant pain then see a physician.
