my grandfather has several mental disorders, so i wanted to know, what are the chances that i have inherited a mental disorder?

Varies: While research has indicated a family link in many disorders, this does not always happen. Just because there may be a genetic loading, your environment plays a big role as well. Positive upbringing and life experiences can mitigate the genetic factors. I would not walk around expecting a mental problem. However, any symptoms that worry you should be checked out immediately.
