What to do if my 12 year old is experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See doctor: You should have a careful work-up by a pediatric neurologist. It is likely that they will order an MRI scan of the brain to make certain that there isn't a temporal lobe lesion such as a tumor. Also, they would want to make certain that there isn't some seizure activity which can manifest itself with auditory and visual hallucinations.
