A member asked:

Can you tell me are clairvoyance = visual hallucinations and clairaudience = auditory hallucinations?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hallucinations: Yes, clairvoyance may be visual hallucinations and clairaudience may be auditory hallucinations. Some individuals who happen to be excellent hypnotic subjects are able to experience auditory and visual hallucinations. So autosuggestion can produce the same phenomena. Scientific studies have failed to validate esp. However, that does not prove it doesn't exist. Just no scientific evidence for it.
