A member asked:

Can pseudotumor cerebri cause auditory and visual hallucinations or is it just anxiety?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Pseudotumor is a state of brain swelling of uncertain cause. Steroids and excess vitamin a can cause this as well as toxic effects of some medications including antibiotics. The pressure should not cause these symptoms, but the toxic state may be the cause.
