A member asked:

What does it mean if i experience auditory and visual hallucinations on a daily/weekly basis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It can mean...: Having frequent hallucinations in a person who is not on medications that might cause that, who is not using illegal drugs that might cause that, and who is not in the elderly-dementia age group, can mean the person is LOW on his or her psychiatric medications. The person can contact the psychiatrist, or the primary care doctor, or go to an Emergency Room for help today.
