See below: The 0.1 mg extended release would give you a higher blood level thus would be stronger. The dose would be similar to 0.2 mg twice a day of the immediate release. This is theoretical. The smallest dose available in the extended release is 0.17 mg daily which is equivalent to 0.1 mg twice a day.
