Im pregnant with severe nausea.i have been taking 16mg zofran (ondansetron) at once..is that ok.my doc said its fine, but im double checking?

Appropriate but...: Taking this much at once is not unheard of but should not be done often. I regularly prescribe 4-8mg and if that doesn't work then try a different drug. Most doctors only use 16mg when preparing patients for surgical nausea and vomiting.
