Anxiety is not: Pleasant but it has a role in keeping us alive. The thoughts we have can make a high arousal experience positive or negative, e.G, this is exciting vs. This is dangerous. Claire weekes old book called "hope and help for your nerves" can help. Retraining the body with techniques psychologists can teach you can also help. It's a slow process but there's reason for hope. Need more info: Different people mean different things when they use the word "anxiety." Also, anxiety can have a wide range of underlying causes that need to be treated differently. So your question is unanswerable in its current form. See a mental health professional to get to the bottom of what's really going on. Keep working on it: Talking therapy ranks really high. Cognitive Behavioral therapy or psychotherapy can be effective. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night & good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies & 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises & meditation. Don't isolate - spend time w friends & stay active. Consider med eval.

Anxiety Cure?: Getting rid of anxiety completely may be tricky. This really depends on the type that you are suffering from and how intense it is. Some anxiety is part of the fabric of living, as it may give us information (through the body) that is responding appropriately to as situation. But anxiety can also be crippling. There are plenty of very effective treatments to address it including psychotherapy.
