I see ativan (lorazepam) listed: But no antidepressant. Ativan (lorazepam) will not help to cure your depression. You need an antidepressant or a mood stabilizer for that. I can understand why you are frustrated. I suspect that you aren't seeing a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists are specialists with selecting the best medication for mental health problems. It is also important to use non-pharmacologic types of treatment. Talk about feelings ; >.

& address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine & alcohol (or moderate). Try Qi Gong, Tai Chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, Yoga, exercise program, deep breathing exercises or Progressive muscle relaxation.
