I'm on percocet right now for pain and trazadone to sleep is it safe to take together i only took 50 mg of trazadone tonight i'm scared to try new med?

How much....: ...Trazodone were you told to take? You don't say, but most people that are prescribed trazodone these days are given it for sleep and often don't need more than 50mg. It is a very sedating drug. It may take 2 hours for you to really feel the effect so you should take it on the early side. If 50mg isn't quite enough, you may want to wait until tomorrow to take it again and try 75 ( 1 and 1/2 tab).

If you were prescribed 100 mg of trazodone but only took 50, see how you sleep tonight with just the 50. If you don't fall asleep, definitely increase to the 100 tomorrow night. If you fall asleep but only sleep briefly, it would be safe to increase to the full 100 as well. If you sleep half the night, I'd increase to 3/4 of the100. See how it goes.
