Ask your doctor: Can sometimes interact together to cause worsening drowsiness - see below: https://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/trazodone-with-valium-2228-0-862-441.html Having said that in some cases is used together - but safer under your doctor's supervision rather than via this forum so please ask him/her.

Prescribed?: Are you prescribed Valium? If so, what for? Please consult with your doctor including the one that started trazodone. While there aren't particular interactions between these two drugs other than combined excessive sedation, adding a 2nd drug to a newly started sleep-aid will cloud the picture of trazodone's efficacy at this dose. Again, discuss with your doc.

Sedation: First find out what your providing doctor recommends. My concern is that you would be taking two very sedating drugs together.

Would not advise.: Both of those medications can have a sedating effect. As such, I would be hesitant to advise you to take Valium and trazodone concurrently, especially since we don't truly know how you will react to the trazodone. Please try to just take the trazodone alone and see how it goes.
