Cervical spine: This is a complicated matter indeed. Often get instability above and below the bones that were fused. The main question to ask is whether you are now having symptoms that can be reasonably located to those sites. If you have tried steroids and therapy without relief, surgery may be the only option, but always worth getting another opinion. Also, find the best therapist and travel if you must.
