Surgery: Depending on the location of your hernia, it may be able to be repaired at the same time as the surgery for the fibroids. Discuss with your doctor how the surgery is to be done. If your gyn surgeon needs the help of a general surgeon for the hernia, ask if they can work together to do both at the same time. It may not be possible to do both together, but worth asking. Otherwise, fibroids first.
