Cold: Most colds are due to viral infections o the upper respiratory tract , and last 10-14 days. It is common to have a persistent cough afterwards , along with excess mucous production. Gerd is typically associated with heartburn and regurgitation if stomach contents into the esophagus and/or throat. Gerd can get worse with stress as well, such as when you have a cold.
