Calories in excess: The saying is that to lose weight to a more ideal body mass index(bmi), calories expended have to be greater than calories consumed. Muscle weighs more than fat. Aerobic exercise combined with strength training and proper nutrition are key components. I recommend signing up at a reputable gym and hire a trainer to go through the entire basic program to achieve your goals. It's $$ well spent.
