For how long will i have incontinence after radical prostatectomy?

It varies: Depending on the procedure, incontinence is normal and usually lasts from a month or so, up to a year in most cases. By that point most men will have regained most of their sphincter function. Permanent incontinence can be a long term issue with prostatectomy, so ask your urologist about his continence rates compared to the national average.

Hard to tell: Your age and health partly determine this. The other factor is how well the surgery went. If your surgeon has done hundreds (preferably 1000s) of cases, you have a good chance to regain your continence within weeks to a few months.
