Art. tears better: I would not use Dexamethasone drops without supervision by an ophthalmologist (they may cause increased pressure in the eyes, may mask infection, etc.) neomycin and polymyxin drops may cause allergic irritation. The moisturizing effect of artificial tears is safest. If the pinguecula cause symptoms in spite of four times a day art. Tears, you should probably see your eye doctor..Y.

Short term treatment: A pinguecula is a small growth or bump on the white of the eye, usually to either side of the colored part of the eye. They are non-cancerous, but they can enlarge over time and have a fleshy or yellowish appearance, sometimes with redness. The steroid eye drop you mentioned can reduce redness short term, but may cause problems when used long term. Other prescribed drops are safer long term.

Yes but . . .: Pingueclua are a normal response to wind, dust and uv light. They are the eyes defense in the middle years to these external forces. They have no symptoms and are usually unnoticed. Since they have no symptoms, something else might be causing changes in your eye that you are feeling and want to use these medications. See an ophthalmologist if that is the case.
